Claire B. Ruth, MACC, LMFT
Claire Ruth is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, pastor’s wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
This world is messy and beautiful, painful and joyful, confusing and inspiring. She gets it. She would like to help.
Claire grew up in the piedmont of North Carolina and graduated from Queens University of Charlotte, where she spent considerable time researching and practicing animal-assisted therapy and working with Young Life, a youth outreach program. She studied counseling at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte because she believes our mental and emotional health are tied to our spiritual wellbeing.
After becoming a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, Claire accompanied her husband to Africa for his job. In their travels through 14 countries, they had the privilege of learning from so many different cultures, that it has widened Claire’s understanding of this world in which we live.
Claire is a Christian, but she lets her clients choose if they want to talk about their faith or spiritual matters.
